Jordan International Trading Center announced that its profits declined by 50.28% to JOD 241.9 thousand in the first half of 2014 compared with JOD 476.3 thousand in the same period of 2013.

Earnings per share hit JOD 0.07 in H1-14 compared with JOD 0.14 in H1-13.

Financial statement of the company showed that sales plunged by 20.4% to JOD 2.84 million in the first half this year compared with JOD 3.36 million in the same period last year. Sales costs declined also by 12.09% to JOD 2.07 million compared with JOD 2.35 million last year, hence, total general profits declined by 22.9% to JOD 778.6 thousand against JOD 1.01 million in the same period of 2013.

The company’s profits dived by 48.9% to JOD 110.09 thousand in the first quarter of 2014 compared with JOD 215.58 thousand in the same quarter last year.
